ever since ive started working as s Business english teacher, for 4 years my students have always asked me, Why airsoft? is it because you want to kill people? I had Interviewed a new assistant for my side business last night. and she asked me the same question again. am i violent in nature? from my experience in teaching having to teach more than 500 students and meeting a lot of japanese, 90% of them thinks that Airsoft is not a sport and most of the time they think its very dangerous.
I have my own reasons why i like playing airsoft, but before i say mine i would also like to hear it from you guys? what is it that makes us love this hobby so much that we spend almost the same amount of money or sometimes even more for cars or motorbikes or what have you?

;D ;Dahmmmmmm...........................Bakit nga ba? Is it the Frustration of the real thing? We have our own individual reasons. For me its simple, I was once like those arrogant people asking and commenting about Airsoftgame, but when I tried it, I dont know bakit nga ba? I Enjoy every airsoftgames i played, Its the the rushed, the action, the adrenalin, the tactics and most of all the friendship and this becomes an outlet to releive our stress on our daily working routines. The Important thing is I have learned how to respect and love this sport(I dont think its not an Airsoft addiction....ahehehehehe ;D . I dont care what others think about this sport,,,,, I suggest they should try it. Mabuhay All Pinoy Airsofter In Japan. More Power to you sir Toti! It was such a cool topic.......

Ako kaya... I'm a fan of the Rainbow Six games. I liked the action of the "good vs. bad" shooting game, and maybe the bit of realism too (I dislike CounterStrike and its ilk). I was exposed to guns at an early age, as many members of my extended family have served in the police or military. I was also very fond of looking snappy during my CAT and ROTC days. I even tried to get into the military, but the hard life was a turn off for me. So when the opportunity to play airsoft came along, it was a perfect match ;D

Ever since I was a little boy, together with my friends we always play gun fight. Using sticks and plastic guns. During my college days, inspired by the movie Young Guns. We bought water guns and still play gun fight. I remember one time when our boarding house was soaking wet. ;D Some 8 years ago, I stumbled upon a toy store here in Gotemba. My first Airsoft gun: M92F Chrome Stainless (GBB). I like guns, I like friendship. Airsoft have it all. And I guess some boys refuse to grew up!

The Japanese have already embedded in their minds the idea of a gunless society free from violence mainly due to their past experiences in the 2nd world war. We couldn't condemn them for thinking so. It really depend on how you perceive the game as a whole. If you see it as a form of exercise then it should be viewed as that. Other people make it as their way to relieve stress and some just for the fun of it. In any way, airsoft is a game if used as one. We can make a game out of anything in this world that is why there is no reason why we shouldn't call it as one.

indeed! you have a big point right there sir. since then this country has not seen any other kinds of violence unlike other countries are experiencing now. now it has come to a point where people in general , their opinion about this sport is that it is an act of violence. it has narrowed the minds of the people as to its media and japanese movies does not have as much violence that shows guns nor blood in that matter. i guess the only japanese movies ive seen that had guns in it was world war II stories. basically my conclusion to this is that this country has been deprived of other forms of reality. a huge portion of the society has come to a point where they are so delicate and to see anything more than their ordinary is outagous. ive seen japanese wear eccentic uniforms to portray world war II scenarios. whats even more ironic is that they wear other country's uniform such as nazi germans.( ill edit this later)
