This is just my observation on the internal parts of my stock G&P gearbox. This review is for information only.
1. M120 motor
-its really a high speed motor
-heats up easily on full auto using 9.6volts crane batt
-some say its the same as th TM eg700
2. Gears
-original G&P steeal gears
-has G&P logo
-it seems to possess a high quality
3. 7mm bearing
-more durable than the 6mm ones (according to Dennis ;D)
-has less friction compared to metal bushings
-more prone to breakage compared to metal bushings
4. Sector Chip
-prevents misfeeding
5.
Piston and
Piston head-
piston has depressions for weight reduction to improve rof
-
piston seems like its prone to breakage
-
piston head is ported
-
piston head has no bearing (fixed position)
6. Cylinder
-it is a type zero cylinder but......
-1/4 section of the inner walls was bored out to make the
cylinder work like a type C cylinder (no air compression is achieved on the bored out part)
7. Cylinder Head and Air seal nozzle
-Cylinder head is permanently glued to the cylinder
-Cylinder head has rubber damper inside
-Air seal nozzle is metal
-Air seal nozzle ha s rubber 0-ring inside
8.Spring guide
-is metal
-has bearing
-seems like to have high quality
9. Tappet plate
-seems like it is made of low quality plastic
-prone to breakage
-it is not perfectly fit with the air seal nozzle
