I. Introduction
This specific IAPS International Postal Match for 2009 World Ranking Record is a level II match in which competitors fire Steel Plates on their countries & region ranges using predefined targets and courses of fire. The shooters score with IAPS ID will be taken into account for free into the Steel Plate Shooting World Ranking. The purpose of this postal match is to offer all shooters an opportunity to participate in an international wide Steel Plate Shooting competition. This match is governed by the honor system. In order for the matches to be fair, each shooter and each officer must maintain the highest level of honesty and integrity when shooting and scoring targets. Anyone who is judged to have cheated will be immediately disqualified from the competition.
Shooters need to have a license in their countries. All are invited to participate in the spirit of fun whether or not they are national-class competitors.
II. Divisions
A. Open
a. Any airsoft semi-automatic pistol, stock or modified
with compensator or optical scope.
b. Maximum power shall not exceed 450 fps @ 0.20g bb's
using 134a, green or propane gas only.
B. Standard
a. Any airsoft semi-automatic pistol, stock or modified,
but without compensator or optical scope.
b. Maximum power shall not exceed 420 fps @ 0.20g bb's
using 134a, green or propane gas only.
C. Production (Mixed Category)
a. Out of the box, double action airsoft pistol without any internal or external modification.
b. Maximum power shall not exeed 400 fps @ 0.20g bb's
using 134a & green gas only.
D. Single Stack (Mixed Category)
a. Out of the box, double action airsoft pistol (1911 type) without any internal & external modification.
b. Maximum power shall not exceed 400 fps @ 0.20 bb's
using 134a & green gas only.
III. Classification & Category
A. All partcipants shall be classified under Class-A, Class-B & Class-C regardless of age & gender.
The basis of classification shall be computed from the participants average scores &
performances in all IAPS sanctioned competitions such as Davies Cup, Pro-Airsoft
Invitational & Pre-International Postal Matches.
